Atlantic Canadian Christian Writers

Welcome!

We’re a group of Christians who write in a variety of genres, both faith-based and mainstream.

At present, our members represent New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia. We’d love to see some Prince Edward Islanders join in too!

We meet online monthly. There’s a seat at our virtual table for you.

Care to join us? Send us an email.

FAQ:

Where do you meet? And when?

We meet online one evening a month.

Do I have to be a member of The Word Guild to join?

No, but we encourage you to check out the benefits of membership.

Do I have to be a Christian?

To join us, yes, please. But feel free to visit a meeting to check us out.

What do you mean by “Christian”?

For the purposes of our group, we mean an individual who can affirm The Word Guild’s Statement of Faith, based on the Apostles’ Creed.

What kind of Christians are you?

We’re Christ-followers from various backgrounds and denominations. We focus on the “irreducible minimums” of the faith, like The Apostles’ Creed, that bind us together. We don’t focus on our differences or things that could potentially divide us.

What do you write?

We have poets, writers of children’s and adult fiction, writers of nonfiction (books and articles) and devotionals, bloggers, reviewers, those who journal, etc.

Will you edit my work? Will you publish my work?

This isn’t the mandate of our group, but some of our members offer book coaching and other services. We’re happy to connect you in your journey.

How do I contact you?

Feel free to send us an email.
