Help Honour Excellence in Canadian Christian Writers

Why Donate to The Word Awards?

The Word Awards are Canada’s premier Christian writing awards, celebrating excellence in books, articles, manuscripts, journalism, devotionals, poetry, music, and other forms of Christian writing. Presented annually by The Word Guild, the Awards recognize outstanding Canadian Christian writers while encouraging excellence, professional growth, and faithful storytelling.

When you donate to The Word Awards, you help us continue this work of recognition and encouragement. For writers at every stage, the Awards provide meaningful opportunities for recognition, professional feedback, increased visibility, and growth within a supportive community of Canadian Christian writers and communicators.

Choose a Way to Give

You can support The Word Awards by making a donation at one of the following levels. Your gift helps us recognize and encourage excellence in Canadian Christian writing and communications.

$25 – Shared Award Contribution
$50 – Short Piece
$100 – Book
$300 – Fresh Ink Awards (all levels) or In the Beginning
$250 or $500 – Specialty Awards, depending on the award
$1,000 – Best Book Awards (Fiction or Non-Fiction)

Please note: We reserve the right to apply your donation to a different category, depending on the needs of the Awards.

Every donation, at whatever level, helps make the Awards possible. Your support helps us celebrate the writers whose words inform, inspire, and encourage readers, while strengthening Canada’s community of Christian writers and communicators.

Thank You For Donating!

We cannot do it without you. Your donations help support other writers, students, pastors and missionaries who cannot afford to attend events. Donations also make it possible for us to reach more writers across Canada, networking them together to strengthen the moral voice in Canada.
