Our philosophy for volunteers:
We need volunteers to allow us to stay financially responsible but we are also concerned that we don’t want to burn out our volunteers. Our Rule of Thumb is that a volunteer position should not take more than 4 hours per week on average. If a role takes more than that, we will attempt to share responsibilities with other volunteers, or if it makes sense, provide payment to the person filling the role.
