Share an Event

Our writers tell us that meeting and sharing with others is an important part of their writing journey. We are happy to facilitate local workshops as a way to get to know others.

Whether your event is an all day affair with multiple speakers, or a short event with one presentation and time to mix, we can help.

What we can do to help your group put on a local workshop:

1. We’d be happy to meet with you to discuss your ideas for an event. Send a note
   to info@thewordguild.com to get started.
2. We can share a planning guide with information and tips from other events.
3. We can share a budget template.
4. If your venue requires proof of insurance, we can provide a certificate of insurance for events sponsored by The Word Guild.
5. We can provide information about your event on our website.
6. We can send a note to our mailing list.
7. We can share information on our social media pages.
8. We can create a registration page for your event on our website.
9. We can collect registration fees from credit cards, eTransfers and pay bills so you don’t need to open your own account. (We’ll need to keep a small percentage of the fees to cover financial costs).
10. We can create an email ID for your event (e.g. yourevent@thewordguild.com) so you don’t have to share your personal email address on your “contact us for more information” ID on your publicity.
