2022 Update
The deadline for entering The Word Awards will be March 31st.
A team has been working on changes that need to be made to the awards in order to make them sustainable especially in this season which is uprooted by the COVID-19 situation.
Get Ready For The 2022 Word Awards!
Submission will be open from January 19, 2022 (5:00PM Eastern) – March 31, 2022
This year, as we did last year, book entries will be submitted online rather than by mailing books. A PDF of the book and an image of the cover will be required.

- Join The Word Guild Email Mailing List to stay aware of Awards Information and other TWG announcements. We do not sell or share your email address with other organizations, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
- Entry Fees by Category listed on the Word Awards GUIDELINES Page.
- Review Guidelines and Eligibility Word Awards GUIDELINES Page.
- You may input up to 3 Entries per Submission Form
- *New* Each writing piece may only be entered into two (2) categories max
- Attachments to the Submission Form Cannot exceed 128 MB
